Can anybody please tell me which way you turn the Mixture Screw on the SU HIF Carb to weaken the mixture, is it clock-waise or anti-clockwise?
Many Thanks

Hello Gaz, according to Calver's corner: -

To adjust the mixture - screw the adjuster in to richen, out to weaken. There may be an 'anti-tampering' cap in there on some carbs - just hook it out.

So I guess it's anti-clockwise then and for more information just click on "SU Carbs-Connection" which you'll find under "Fuel": -

This should prove useful if you ever decide to rebuild your HIF carburettor: -

Although you must join The Mini Forum to be able to access the "HIF rebuild catalogue" pdf file.
