Quite depressing viewing the Longbridge demolition isn't it,  can't stand in the way of progress though eh ? :(

Wonderful isn't it!  They are quite early cars, in Farina Grey I suppose - I was trying to see if they had the screen recess or not but they look like the early foam filled type sills.  Interesting to see small details such as the radius arm shrouds fitted before the rear subframe....  I wonder how long it took to assemble the whole car?

I expect there is someone here with a more detailed knowledge of the early cars who can date the scene more accurately but I agree, it is early production - must be '59 or '60.......

It is a great shame to see Longbridge go but I don't think there was any realistic alternative:(.

Oh yes.....and I expect there were a few carefully touched-in scratches around the grille on some cars:shock:......

Yeh the are early cars for instance the full skirt scuttle on the front valence this dvd is avalible to by fron the http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/shop/books-cds-dvds/dvds-bm/the-best-of-original-mini/index.html i have it there is also the Morris version of this on there to plus much more :)
