I think the steel shell has released all that extra horse power. The same engine in a car made from dried banana skins (as standard) would only produce half that power!

Fits in with the quotes from KAD though.

Maybe it's the same dyno JCG used - their 85 and 90bhp conversions, although nice, never seem to make as much as expected on other dynos.

This beggars belief

I note the whereabouts of the 'barbecue' and I'm ashamed to admit that I live in the same county as this 'person' :(. But, at least I wasn't born here :D.

Another eBay scam advert by the looks of it - but it is a pink head turner :P

On a serious note, can't see that this is the original body colour AND interior. :?

Surely even BMC wouldn't have used such an awful contrasting colour combo

No comments about the Fiesta Yellow and Powder Blue combo please :P

That blue one does look an odd shade of blue however although the car is on a UK plate some cars were built in Ireland and they had some odd colour combo's.

It has a petrol tank in the boot according to the description.

I wonder what a Toad alarm is.

Maybe it's a detection system to warn of amphibians crossing the road :P

Quite radical for a Mini to have a fuel tank in the boot

Not sure what 'show' it was from - Scrapheap Challenge ?!

A carpit... or Car pit is the thing one should dig to bury this car in!

I like the "Low cropt roof":D:D

Does anyone know what "Door poppers need wirering" means....?

What's an "old school show car"?

I think this car has to be the worst one found so far...... Well done Andrew... :D

I can only think that a 'Toad alarm' in this case means that some sort of alarm has been installed to prevent toads from mating with it having mistaken it for one of their own:D

There is some similarity around the front end isn't there, so perhaps it's too late:shock:.

Don't know, but if you take the lights out of the bonnet it could have been the start of MINI 2!

Reckon the fuel filler position would confuse the average toad as well :D

I have spotted part of the dash in one of the pics and it looks like it was a good 'un .
