I'm just waiting for your announcement that you've decided to spray over the fiesta yellow with pink! It will be the only one in the village I suspect

Now there's an idea ! It'd be unique and a 'major head turner'
If I just sprayed the roof pink it would be like a rhubarb and custard sweet And with the powder blue interior as well - what a colour combo!!!
I'll let you paint your car in these colours first and see what it's like!!

Tempting...... but my black roof would need a lot of coats of paint.... it would be much cheaper and easier to do yours....
I saw in B+Q the other day you can get paint that goes on pink and dries white (so you can see if you've missed a bit)
I'll happily come round and brush paint your roof for you if you want..... don't worry.... if you don't like it you just need to wait for it to dry and it'll be white again!

I don't know what a Mini Sky/Rose is though, but I know there was a Mini Sky LE and a Mini Rose LE released back in 1989. Mind you most Rover dealers used to just put both names on the V5 (just like with the Flame Red/Racing Green LE's which were launched at the same time), because they couldn't be bothered to label them right and that's why so many owners get confused.Last edited on Friday July 27th, 2007 09:23 pm by taffy1967 |

Well it's effectively a MKII/III/IV black dash pod (1967-1980), but it probably just came out of a 1970's Mini 1000?
Anyway there's been little interest so far, so why not make a bid?

Anyway I've just received a message from someone asking if I have a buy now price?
What figure should I say?
Mind you that instrument pod is listed in the Somerford Mini Specialists parts website and without the chrome surround it isn't that expensive.
But that's if they actually have any in stock though?
Anyway does £15.00 sound reasonable?

Taffy, please see my reply on the other thread
I liked the look of this car from the outside but looking inside, must put it forward for dash of the week

Thanks Andrew and that dash is disaster of the week I'd say. Still he could always bid for my classic oval pod to improve matters perhaps?

Bet its a bugger to steer as well.....
Or maybe it has the electric power steering so you don't need a wheel at all!

Pink......? no no no no no.....
Read the text.... what you're looking at is a custom red velvet interior with a chocolate brown headlining.(fortunately the headlining is not shown)
