It does look well done though and it's certainly unusual !! I see there's copius amounts of my favourite material inside :(

Surprisingly the words 'head-turner' aren't used
I thought you may like the deck plate Andrew!!:D Of course it cannot be a head turner if it is underwater!!:D

the mini is registered as a 1970 mini clubmand as the front end was cut off and converted to a normal mini front end at some stage of its life
As he seems keen on campanology I'd say "pull the other one its got bells on" to that statement. Clearly a much later shell than 1970 and I bet an underbonnet shot would show a distinct lack of Clubman inner wings.

Yes, it's amazing the trouble some people take to make a tax exempt car look so much like an 1990's Mini. Like in the under bonnet area, with a late wiring loom complete with relays in the 'correct' position on the bulkhead. looks just like my Mini 30  Also note the repositioned windscreen washer bottle in the boot, just like 90's Mini's :?

:shock:Also note.......just about everything else really - including the colour of course!

I can, I suppose, understand someone doing a 'logbook swap' like this on their own car to save themselves the road tax each year, but to attempt to sell it on is highly risky and, it seems, rather common.  There are a lot of very obvious ones on ebay alone!  You also have to question the true (original) identity of this car.  At worst, it could have previously been stolen or written off etc.  The next owner will probably never know......Buyer beware etc. as usual!

Those big arches and standard wheels would get over the usual problem of road dirt being sprayed all over the car though wouldn't they:D.....

Never mind Norton, I've tracked this one down for you. Pictures aren't too revealing but I think you'll get a taste for it :P
