Many registered with the club?
Only ever spotted one in Ireland
Its the 1998 limited editon of 100, available in black or brooklands green with dark green leather interior and a decal kit to resemble the Cooper Car Co & British Vita racers.
It was released to celebrate the 30th aniversary of the 1968 Britich Saloon Car Championship wins for the Mini.

Hello Andy
I am looking to make contact with other LE owners too. I own a Green One. It is a Wood and Pickett car, they look after about half a dozen. It has had a considerable amount spent under the bonnet, about £2500 of stage III tuning, with just the 52mm Alloy throttle body to source and fit.
Wood and Pickett did me some bespoke wilton carpets which are fantastic quality. I was also able to match the dash with door cappings, mine was very light and this has finished of the car.
I have remote central locking, full stainless centre exhaust, new Rover alloys, and I love it. Next plans are to have the A panel and door skin repaired on the off side, taking out a car park dink at the same time. I have removed the bonnet stripes to have more of the gorgeous brooklands green to polish and I am thinking of having the roof sprayed the same colour too.
I have inherited a website, and am thinking of starting a register. Would you be interested?

Brilliant, as soon as I can make them smaller, I will post some pics. The car is running well. Bombed down to Beaulieu for the register event this weekend. Only one other Vita there, but there were two originals which were great.
Looking to spend a bit on the body soon, both A panels and a least one door are giving up. Plus in this heat a full length roof is looking like a good investment. Would certainly have had that option if I had been able to get one new.
Still waiting for my alloy throttle body. Burlen are on to week four!!!!! Getting very impatient. Just keen to get my Stage IV refurb finished and open the rest of it up. Bout you car, what do you have planned?

| Will you please both contact our Rover Cooper registrar, Peter Farley, with details of your cars as he may be able to help you with the register.

I've owned it from new, use it daily & it now has 95k on the clock.
I had it featured in MiniWorld, June 2004 issue I think.
I built a stand to display the feature at shows, also have a Japanese Bscc Ltd brochure I display aswell.
I've carried out a few alterations to personalise it.
Minisport 90bhp conversion (not sure where they get the 90bhp from cause its nowhere near it!) Pipercross induction kit.
Downton rear box, John Cooper Garages bonnet badge, wheel centres, gearknob & rear speakers.
Walnut door cappings, green & walnut centre console.
Leather bound top dash rail, fuse box cover, steering column cover, leather bound bootlid trim, rear shelf & rear pocket liners.
Door builds, Infinity sub & amp, sony amp, tv, dvd & slimline playstation2.
Anthracite 13x7 superlights & body coloured grille.
Don't really want to do much more

I know I said I didn't want to do much more, but I got carried away
Anyone know if the Mini Cooper Register is going to the Himley Hall show on 13th May?
I'm travelling all the way from N.Ireland and would love to be on a Club Stand

I changed my airbag steering wheel to a Motolita John Cooper wheel in green leather to match the seats

Then I fitted a Wood&Pickett MPI steering coloumn lowering bracket

Turned 100,000 miles on the way home from Himley Hall

I also fitted retro style number plates

I think I may be addicted

Great site Andy and I've bookmarked it now because it'll come in handy for when people ask for more information on this awesome model.

Hi Andy
I have come across another piece of LE history

And here are a few piccies of my car, first of all at mini45 in London

Then with the bonnet up showing all the chrome and engine mods at the Oldham Mini gathering.

Then a couple of views of the interior

This picture is on the custom console brochure.
