Hi all

Just a quick note to point you in the direction of :-

http://www.coopersport500register.co.uk

This register was set up for The Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500's, it was created to trace and record the final chapter in Mini's great 41 Years of production history.

The register's goal is to find all of the 500's and also a chance for the owners of these rare models to talk and meet other owners. This group could also help those looking at purchasing a 500 to check if their possible purchase is in fact a genuine Cooper Sport 500.

We have information on the history of the 500, Photos and a chat forum for members

Thanks :D

Yes and your very lucky people indeed to have a 500.  Anyway only the registered authentic plate inside the glove-box is a give away isn't it?  But then many owners have put 500 stickers on their cars too.  ;)

the plaques inside the glovebox merely say 'one of the last 500' doesnt say what number, and we have seen these plaques for sale at shows as well can you beleive .  So the only real way to tell is by the VIN number.

Hi,

if i was going to view a 'Cooper 500' - can you tell me what VIN range the correct cars are within. I don't want to buy a fake.

Do you have the cars listed by Reg. number i.e If i gave you the reg. number, could you check the car is a genuine 500?

thanks

8port - drop me an email to stewart@coopersport500register.co.uk and i will help you out.  I dont have a list of all registrations as these can change all the time, the only way to be sure is with the VIN number, let me know this before.
