I remember seeing a very nice Ltd Edition Mini on the forecourt of an Austin Rover garage back in 1990. It was white with a black roof, black and silver alloys (100+ ?), and Italia ' 90 (World Cup) logos on the rear end and front wings.

A very pretty edition I thought compared to alot of the rather cheap looking variations of the time, but I can't say I've ever seen one since !

Was I dreaming this, ( can I be that sad ?), or did it infact exist...maybe a one off by the dealer ? You tell me.....

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

Anyway back in 1986 I can remember seeing a white Mini all stickered up as the Mini Mystique Limited Edition.

It was really just a tarted up Mini City E and it was a Mini that Lex Rover of Cardiff had dreamt up in a promotion.

So that Mini you saw was probably the same and had been given a make-over by that Rover dealers.

Unless it's an Export edition.

Little seems to be documented about LE's sent for export. There were different ones from the UK, the 'Silver Bullet' for the german market for example.

I saw a French registered Metro a few years ago, Following the Kensington, Chelsea, parklane theme this was a Metro 'Brighton':D
