I ran the MCR speed championship a few years ago and we had loads of competitors. I have however not been an MCR member since shortly after.
Is the Championship still running?

Interesting question Mark, are you interested in 'doing a bit' ?
The MCR Speed Championship was taken under the wing of the Midland Speed Championship many years ago, after we got out as I remember. I think it's still running though as it's listed on the Midland website .....

Yip we used to turn up at hillclimb and sprint events with an MCR class of a dozen or so cars, and even a seperate class for cars that fell between 'Standard Production' which meant virtually bog standard and 'Roadgoing Modified' which are highly modded 'road cars' which can barely be driven on the road. The class I created was for actual fast road cars that were frequently driven to events, a popular class it was too and now long gone . Ahh happy days............

Hi there
I sent you a private message some time ago but you have not had the courtesy to reply - why ?
All I wanted was up to date information on the championship, not just what appears on the Midland website.
