I think the flasher switch was actually a Lucas item. The wipac item is very similar, but not quite right.

Have you ever seen a LUCAS flasher switch? I can't say I have. Maybe someone has a picture of one.
I know that in some of the older Works Minis they used a switch that was from Land Rovers. Was that the LUCAS flasher switch?
Was WIPAC a sub company of LUCAS, or bought up by LUCAS like BULTER was? many of the BUTLER items you see like the flexible map light later had LUCAS stamped on them and where in LUCAS packaging.

I've seen several Lucas switches, I bought a new boxed one. Mine is now mounted in the dash. I'm afraid I'm not too good with loading photos, but you can see examples of the switch in several photos of works minis.
I don't know whether Wipac etc were taken over by Lucas, but the Wipac flashers that I have seen are not the same as the Lucas item.
The LandRover switch you refer to is probably the navigators horn push.

The Land rover ones I am refering to (which I read about in one of the books some where) was a long handled dash mounted self cancelling switch Or spring loaded. I think I have a picture of one but I am not sure if it is the LUCAS one .

| Huddersfield Mini spares market a cage similar to the old works type, they call it 'The Italian Job' cage...It's not an exact replica but looks similar...
