:D Aye, can I blame my navigator????  Guess not, cos I looked at the map as well. :D

I'm so jealous of Paul and Stuart!  Massive well done!  And as for Alan and Debs - outstanding!!

Can't wait to do it all again. Think I'll write "L" and "R" on the corresponding handies next time....

Please find attached final results for the rally (n.b. view in "print layout").

Congratulations again to Paul Metcalfe and Stuart Wright for winning the event.

Our sincere apologies to Phillip Brent and Graeme Robinson (i.e. Car 3) who were provisionally given fourth place on the night but dropped to sixth once all the timecards had been gone through in more detail. Sorry guys. :?

A full report will on the event will appear in the next but one isssue of the MCR mag.
In the meantime, our thanks to all the crews that took part, as well as to friends and family who gave up most of their weekend to come and marshal. ;)

Cheers,

Niall.

:) Niall, we had a brilliant time, definitely worth the three hour plus drive from Derbyshire. We would like the opportunity to get any of the photographs that were taken of us on the event (car no.8). Will be back next year.

Thanks Again - Nick & Philip

That event looked very much like fun.

Nice photograph (No6) - Are there any more photographs from the event to view?

Regards

John

All the pics taken on the night, with the exception of those in the pub at the finish and one other, which i'm keeping to myself at the moment (!), can be found on the website below:

The photographer, a chum of mine, had a bit of a nightmare with the weather, etc., but there are a few really good pics there i reckon..;)

Cheers,

Niall.

Well done Niall and gang a great event, even though we spent most of it in the pub, next time reliability will be a bit higher on the agenda.

Great atmosphere at the end and a great feast for the crews. Will  definitely be back next year ,lets hope there are a few more events like this added to the MCR calender.thanks again to everyone involved!!!

Reciprocal posts, how nice!:D

Seriously though, if enough people come forward and commit to entering, we'd be more than happy to run the rally again next year..

Just drop me line at
nialltcook@tiscali.co.uk if you're serious about taking part.

Cheers, N. ;)

In that case Niall, put our names down again, Car 6. Not sure which car we will use next year, but we will be there!

Really enjoyed it. Great route.

Nice food afterwards too :D

Nial,

Just had a look at the site - great stuff.

Add my name for next year - maybe I'll get a better result and not get lost!!

Once again, many thanx for an excellent evening.

Oz
