If you are going to the show this weekend the MCR will be in Hall 1; members cars will also be displayed around the show and taking part in the Slowly Sideways event.
The Register will be publicising our participation in the Midland Speed Championship and have entry forms available for the 24 event series.
Please come and introduce yourself.
Don't forget our National Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu on Sunday 10th June and our Minis to Monte events this year (Scotland) and in 2008.
The Legend Lives On.

Will there be any discounts available for MCR members?, as it works out quite expensive.
Why was this not mentioned in the Events earlier, giving members due notice.
http://www.historicmotorsportshow.com/ For those that may go.

This was mentioned, twice in the MCR mag - together with a leaflet advertising the show. See January 07 page 7 and in March 07, page 14. On both occasions you were encouraged to book in advance, that gave you a discount and also the club was given a contribution by the organisers, if you quoted a specific reference. You obviously missed both plugs for the show and the flyer, and yes I agree it is an expensive show (but a good one at that!)

Further to what Robert has already mentioned there was a full page advert on the inside back cover of the magazine in the January and February issues

Just some pictures from the show....

On the stand Dave West's championship winning sprint hill climb car. This car has had over 300 class wins, also Brian Pears car 407 ARX.

Peter Moss in action on the Live Action Rally Stage. Look closely at the nearside front tyre!

Paddy Hopkirk was among the many visitors to the stand. We got him to autograph the large Minis to Monte backdrop!
