The MCR has a stand at the show which opened today. On display is a replica of ORX 707F, the car which was driven by Tony Fall on the 1968 Monte Carlo Rally.
The display is dedicated to the memory of Tony Fall.
The show is well worth a visit, in my opinion, and today we met with several of our Honorary members including Mike Wood who co drove Tony to success on the 1968 Monte.
If you are not a rugby fan why not come to the show and say hello.

Cliff, I'd love to, but transport is impossible. If I can get down the road for 0520 I should be there for about 1100. Comeing home is worse, need to leave at either 1300 or 1700 to get home at 2300 or 0607 Sunday morning!!
My taxi driver, 'the boss', has her annual show tomorrow and she'll be recovering Sunday.

| I have boycotted this show since they made everyone pay to park in a muddy field miles from the show a couple of years back, pity as it is a good show.

The Show is excellent. The atmosphere on the MCR stand yesterday was brilliant. I do not think I have enjoyed working for the MCR, on a Club stand, as much as yesterday.
STEVE Eccershall's replica is so attentive to detail - it is unbelievable. Cliff has done well in setting up the stand and sourcing the car.
The visitors to the stand yesterday included Basil Wales, Bill Price, Den Green, Stan Chalmers, John Larkin, Mike Wood, Willy Cave, Warwick Banks, Whizzo, John Parnell, Peter Barker, Arni Wookey, Dick Robinson, Len Chandler, Peter Copestick, Alan Meaker and David Blacklidge from Frome. Paddy was in the building but did not make it to our stand.
A very enjoyable day

| Many more came by today and said hello. Despite the rugby it was a great day meeting with many other members, including many friends from Ireland. I forgot to mention yesterday we are not on the stand published in the catalogue. We are in hall 1 behind the HERO stand - H16/18. Please come and see us.

| Visited today - thought the tribute to Tony Fall was brilliant, especially having Steve Ecceshall's superb replica on display, now registered ORX 707G, the perfect number for that car. Well done Cliff and anybody else who helped.

Dave, my first reply was directed to you but my ability to use the reply system is inadequate and I hope the "buss" does well at her show.

Cheers Cliff, seems to have gone OK. I was amazed - I thought I'd be looking at travel times not that different to Coventry, they're not that far apart. Maybe it's the web search engines, might try contacting Stoneleigh direct, for future events, to see if they have any suggestions.
