Hello...
I am just letting you know about some updates to The Rally Show at Chatsworth (Sept 29th & 30th 2007).
Firstly following on from the previous thread on your forum regarding the show, we have already seen the error of our ways and altered our terms... we got it wrong and would like to thank you for pointing this out to us .
Secondly we have just announced that a special commemoration to the Mini will be taking place @ The Rally Show over the weekend. Paddy Hopkirk, Rauno Aaltonen & Timo Makinen will all be making guest appearences at the show. The "Flying Finns" will be reunited with some of the classic Mini's that took them to their respective glory in the 60's, whereas Paddy Hopkirk will be driving the Mini that took him to victory in the inaugral Pirelli Classic in 1989. Other than this there will be plenty more entertainment in the way of competitive rallies and specialist displays.
For more information about the Mini event and the other goings on over the weekend please go to our website http://www.therallyshow.org
If you are after any further information, in particular about car club displays, please feel free to contact me by email: a.neill@therallyshow.org, or ask me a question here.
Thanks for your time...
Andy Neill.

| That's still £21 per head then for a weekend pass (unlikely exhibitors will stay for two days mind) which is precisely the same charge for a 'spectator'. Any thoughts on this anyone ? Does sound a like a very interesting event and not far from me.

After seeing your post I had to have a word with our webmaster! You will now find that the correct prices are displayed on the website.
Basically the more cars in the club, the cheaper it is per member.

Andy
I have checked out your website and calculate that the actually cost appears excessive on the following basis:
1 adult £21 plus plaque @ £12 = £37 plus extra adult or child tickets per car.
I don't think we would generate sufficient interest to qualify for discounted rates.
I agree with Glen that most of our members would probably choose to attend one day only and the date of your event clashes with Mini Action Day at Castle Combe on Saturday 29th , a well established event for some years which a lot of Mini enthusiasts attend.
Sadly, it is not an event I would currently recommend be supported by our club.

Yes the clash with Mini Day is an unfortunate one, however you have mis-calulated our prices.
£21 per person is the two day price for displaying at the show, however it entitles you to all the benefits of the event at no extra charge, this includes recieving the commemorative plate for free.
Also, if more members attend the price per head comes down, it can be as little as £15 per car.
