Looks like the car's last tax ran out in December 2005 - see link below

http://www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/application;JSESSIONID_EvlPortalApp=FgnHCfwqGpzGt0rS4p1PrjXB1SW6nVmJMvXFhL9qLt7bHHCS7swT!-386490664?pageid=Vehicle+Enquiry&portletid=VehicleEnquiry&portletns=VehicleEnquiry_en&wfevent=link.next

DVLA do sometimes forward on letters to current keepers from interested parties, as long as the reason is acceptable. I successfully contacted the then current keeper of a car my father owned when it was new back in '64 in this way.

How come Innocenti doesn't appear in the drop down list on the DVLA site?

I'm trying to locate a white Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 registered 1275UK that blew my friends Fiesta away at some traffic lights in Cardiff back in 1985.

It was an awesome looking car and was being driven by a then youngish bloke who was travelling with his mates I imagine.

I'd love to know where that car is now anyway.

I would expect they don't appear because Innocentis were never officially imported into the UK.

I only found it under Leyland Cars by going through the drop down list and picking out likely candidates ;)

I guess it's not on 'The Computer' then. Have you tried DVLA to see if they have any records of it? They sometimes only hold partial or skeleton records if the number has been inactive for a long time.

I'll send them a fax enquiry, but as it's not my car I doubt they'll be very forthcoming with the information?

Peugeot 205 Convertible which seems a bit of a waste. Interestingly, it is currently SORNed!

£1100 seems quite reasonable as a Buy IT Now price if it's fairly complete and not falling apart.

It turns out that 1275UK (Innocenti Cooper) belongs or belonged to a member of Minifinity, although he hasn't posted for some time.
