Can anyone tell me what the paint code is for the sliver rover used on the last m.p.i's.
Also I'm After the paint code for black as used on Mk 1 coopers etc

| Presume your talking about Platinum Silver (BLVC 1217). From the parts book 'A' pages this would have the VIN paint code MNX.

Strange that the Photographic Mini Colour Guide above has it listed as "Platinum Silver MET - MNX (BLVC1209)"?

| As for the Mk1 Black, BMC used only one black for all their cars. The code was BK1 and it was just black.... nothing more to add, really...

| Although i think it was sometimes called, Factory Black, Austin Black, but it was always the same colour - Black

Taffy, I'd go with yours! Rechecking A pages both Nightfire Red 2 Mica and Platinum Silver Metallic are both listed as BLVC 1217. On the same page both Surf Blue and Tahiti Blue are both BLVC 1239! Printers causing havoc?
