Can some one confirm or otherwise, that a MK 1 Bonnet will fit in my Rover Cooper!

No a MKI bonnet won't fit because the support brackets are in a different position.

I suppose the only way to get the effect is to modify a Rover Mini bonnet, by removing the lip.

That then begs the next question.....what about the grille, will a MK1 fit where a Rover one goes?

Will it requre mods of the fitting points

I've not fitted one myself, but I'd imagine it means drilling extra holes for it and the chrome surround?

Probably easier to adapt holes, as i think a few people will have done it.
