It's been a while since anyone posted on here....
Do we have many RSP owners on the forum? We've currently got 2 on the road, a red and green one...numbers 4 and 535 respectively. Anyone else got any pictures of their RSP's or ones they have seen?

| It'll be interesting to see how much this goes for, but I'll be sick if someone has it for bargain money.

£8'600 it went for. Not exactly bargain money....
I have no 392 (if i remember rightly)
Which my sister has just given back to me after a transit ran into the back of it.
I'm planning on reshelling it rather than mess about cutting the rear panel and boot floor out. However this has been put on hold since someone in a focus took the brand new front end off my MPi last week, what is it with Fords?

Sorry to hear about your two minis - hope everyone was ok.
Any pictures of your RSP? Sounds like your going to be busy...

I'll post some pictures when i've had a chance to resize them.
I knocked my knee cap over to one side in my prang, it popped back into place, but swollen up and aches.
My sister suffered minor back ache.
I'm driving a Volvo estate now, bring it on you ford drivers!

I'd say it's a bargain when you consider how much "DJB 93B" recently went for at auction. (i.e. over £100,000)
Sorry to hear about the accidents, but at least you're both okay and I'm driving about in a Zafira these days and can't wait to get my Mini running again.

Want to see if your Zafira can take on my Volvo?

LOL not really, it's very docile taking off at the lights and goes around bends like a block of flats.
But there's room for all the family, including my mother and our dog so it does what it needs to do.
For sheer exciting seat of the pants motoring there will never be another car like the classic/proper Mini though.

The volvo is like driving a coach, but it hangs onto the bends ok.
A little slow from the lights, but when the turbo comes in the straight six 2.4 diesel sounds so sweet.
The bumpers (read RSJ's) on either end mounted on massive shock absorbers are like a neon sign, "Get out of my way"

Our Zafira feels like a coach too, especially when you're trying to reverse park it and it can be difficult with the amount of blind spots it has. In fact those thick windscreen pillars are so wide that we have to be careful when pulling out from junctions, because of the blind spot problem they cause.
I guess we're spoilt when it comes to our Minis.Last edited on Friday June 8th, 2007 03:41 pm by taffy1967 |
