Hi Guys, I am desperately looking for an old car I owned...an RSP Mini Cooper. It was british racing green and I owned it from 1999-2001. I want to buy the car back or at least know it is being looked after and that I will have first refusal should it ever want to be sold.

So please, if anyone knows H954CNK then let me know.

Thanks

Kevin

Your can apply for the owners details from the DVLA, so long as you have a reasonable excuse for requsting it they'll provide it for a small admin fee.

hi,

have you found this car already...your posting is quite old? If not I spotted a photo of it on the RSP register website in the gallery section

Hope it helps you track it down

I know this car well, it was owned for sometime by Dave Robins from Guidford, it was meticulously maintained and had a full-house 1380cc engine fitted. Due to his wifes severe ilnness Dave reluctantly had to part with the car about two years ago as he could no longer spend time on the car to keep it in the condition he wanted so it went on eBay. Rougeleo (who posts on here and on Specialist Mini Forums) bought the original engine as a spare, I believe he still owns it ?

Being the previous owner of H954 CNK mentioned in the last post on this subject I would just like to set the record straight on one or two of the remarks printed.

The Car was not sold due to the health condition of my wife and nor do I live or have ever lived in Guildford.

As a regular user of a certain web based Mini Forum I was appalled at the treatment of a close friend of mine at the time, that coupled with the bitching and back stabbing of a couple of so called founder members of that forum I, (and not my wife's condition) decided enough was enough and sooner than let the car sit unused in the garage it was sold via PistonHeads and not eBay as stated.

As for H954 CNK it has since been sold again and I have no knowledge of it's whereabouts

Thank's MCR for the opportunity to post this reply.

I think it would have been simpler just to put 'ive since sold it, dont know where it is', rather than post a long winded reply, which comes across as a moan about your experiences of another forum.

I can see the people from the other forum (dont know, or care, which) now getting wind of this and starting an arguement about nothing, maybe the admins could keep an eye on this 'just in case'.

Personally i'd have just said '*** them' and enjoyed my car, but there you go.:)
