It seems that I keep on bumping into interesting bodies lately.
Last week I found the right donor for my 1071 S, this week bumped into a genuine MK2 s shell. A good friend of mine (in the process of becoming a member here) bought it and we went to pick it up today.
It used to be a German car that got re-shelled into a donor shell. The VIN plate was located on one of the door posts and had a steering column lock.
Here are some pictures of it:

What's going on in pic 2? Looks like someone's fixed another wing over the hinges...
Very nice project.

| like I said it's a German body, at some time in it's life it was used as a 'Rennwagen' which is a racer. To fit wider wheels arches got fitted and got moulded in with the body

| I've never seen rust there like that, above the boot. What are your plans for the shell?

Hi, I'm the owner of the shell.
I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with it, as it is a lot of work, and nowerdays the days have less hours then they used to have
I'd like to restore her, and find a proper registration for her, but, on the other hand, I really haven't got the time... I've got a 59 mini, a mini marcos, mini van and some other minis waiting for restoration.

| Well at least bare shell's are easy to store, otherwise someone else would probably love to do the metal work with full rear panel and boot floors available, or weld and fab with what you have. That boot area would be intresting.
