| Was the right-hand tank ever an option on 'plain' MkII Coopers, or was it only on the 'S'? I have a tank and all the kit to install it, and would like more fuel capacity. If they were never fitted, I'll have to think carefully before making a decision.

| It was a BMC option so could be fitted to any model of Mini

| I don't recall it being an 'option' when I bought my 1968 Cooper but you could definitely buy the kit to fit one, as I did.

| There are a few options listed on the sales brochure for each model but there was also a complete binder entitled 'Approved Accesories' and the Mini right hand tank is in there. It covers all BMC models not just Minis.
