| It will unless it is 2.95 or 2.76. Last edited on Sunday May 11th, 2008 07:53 pm by Mini4Ever |

With anything lower than about 3.44 you'll need to open out the bit that goes around the pinion (main shaft retaining plate??). But that 2 minutes with a half round file...

| My experience is that this is only required for the 2.95 and 2.76. There is a different C-shaped retaining plate for that FD, but that one is not suitable for a remote change box. If i'm not mistaken, the original retaining plate works for 3.1 and 3.2 (which are A+ ratios that are not available in A version). Last edited on Sunday May 11th, 2008 07:54 pm by Mini4Ever |

A 3.1 pinion hangs up on a "normal" remote C plate - but it only takes a few minutes to fix it.
