Android - why do you think it is wrong ? No door chromes and incorrect ashtray (totally inexcusable!) but apart from that it looks as if it could be the real thing.

Oh no here we go ! It's probably just a reshell job. The biggie I guess is no dashtop vinyl. The chassis plate is a moose ! (and the wrong way round). No boot shots (hiding something ?). By the by,only just spotted the RH engine steady as well, haven't seen one like that before ! Must be penultimate engine steady !!

:D

The whiter than white top dash rail is a bad start and I'm not sure what the chassis plate is off (and it doesn't seem to be stamped ) but it doesn't look like a Mini one.

Agreed.   It has been discussed a bit on another thread under "introductions & welcomes"....... I reckon it has a few too many wrong bits and not enough right ones for this car to have started life as a Cooper.....

:D:D:D  Well, it isn't really expensive yet, whatever its history (provided the dreadful stickers can be removed).  It looks in decent nick and will be a fun car for somebody but I'd imagine the "Cooper" probably lived in an envelope for a few years.......

Washing line door handles and suspect it's only a 90mph speedo.

Looks like the chassis plate is glued on, as it certainly isn't screwed on. A No More Nails special :D
