As the add states, Replica. No dash top rail trim, wrong ashtray, door pull cords, badges too high up the boot lid, for a few but looks a tidy useable classic.

Doesn't look bad but needs quite a bit to make it into a true replica ;)

I agree, it looks a good car and would be a fun car to own.  No doubt it has been expensive to create but will it fetch over £7,000?  Probably not.  The title is misleading but the description is more clear.  Not sure how it has a "D" registration when the seller clearly states it was registered in 1965?  He does say it was re-registered but with the original registration:?.  He's lost me there....

Hmm, guess it was re-registered as it missed the DVLA computer deadline. If it was originally registered in 65 surely it should be a C reg :?

Yes I'd have expected it to be a "C".  It'll probably be another that doesn't reach its reserve won't it?  Are you not a football fan either then Andrew?:D.

If it does then it'd make my replica a £9-10K car then (which it isn't)

Spot on with your last observation Richard!! If it ain't got at least two wheels and an engine, I'm not interested. :D I will however exclude F1 from that statement.

The trouble is Gray, being interested in engines without wheels makes you one of those old men who are happy to sit all day in a deck chair behind their stationary engine at country shows with a flask of tea and some sandwiches.....I don't think that's any of us yet is it?  Unless I'm mistaken of course;).

We were luckier in Oxfordshire.  In our house the water only came up to my knees so I didn't need oxygen:P.

Hi Minorparts,

You have them there too?  You forgot the navy blue boiler suits, rag in the back pocket and an oil can (preferably the gink gonk type).  :D  Hahahahaha

You've got it Al,  Also, you need an old estate car/station wagon possibly towing an old wooden trailer. plus a collie dog perhaps.  Oh, and a flat hat:D! And you must enjoy painting everything you own.   With a brush.  Either maroon or dark green:).

Bob,  we still have to pay window tax to the sherrif's men.  They come round each month on horseback.  And, if you think that road looks wet Gray we had some cars float past our house last July:(.
