Pictures (as well as text files and pdfs) can attached to messages.
Once you have written your message scroll to the bottom of the message area and on the left hand side it says attachment.
Click on the browse button to locate the picture you want to upload on your computer. Note the allowable extensions. Also the file should not exceed 300kb. otherwise it won't get loaded! Also avoid having pictures more than 800 pixels wide also the resolution needs to be only 72dpi otherwise they take an age to load.
Once you have done that either preview the message or send it.
If you have a picture on a website and would like people to view you can insert a link the button for this is the third from the right (above the message box). It will bring up a box to allow you to enter the URL of where the picture is located, that will then get embedded into your message.
