The Fosse Rally 2007 will take place on Friday 23rd February 2007.
As usual it will start from somewhere in the south of Warwickshire and provide an evenings entertaining motorsport via 90 or so miles of the best roads in south Warwickshire and north Gloucestershire - probably with a bit of Oxfordshire and Worcestershire thrown in for good measure.
Next year it does not clash with the Historic Motorsport Show.
Regulations will be available very soon - twang me a PM if you would like a copy.
Anybody wishing to marshal is also very very welcome.

| Regulations are now available - drop me a PM or email if you would like a copy. Remember there are only 12 places available so, as Fred Pontin used to say, "Book early"

The advert in the magazine looks good. I hope the entries are flooding in. For those of you thinking about taking part, don't think too long because the organising team always work very hard to put on a fantastic event.
Good luck.

| Just because Rog couldn't do the event in February we have decided to postpone it until later in the year - probably shortly after the clocks change back from BST.

Good job, went through one of the fords today that we have used a lot and found this vehicle which had been washed away in the recent floods.

Yes, had to drive round road closed signs to get to it. Spoke to a bloke who was there looking at the car as he knew the owner, apparently she had tried to drive through 5 1/2 feet of water (slight exaggeration I think but the mud and debris on the approach roads looks like it was at least 3 feet higher previously).
I went for a trundle through the ford at Bourton-on-the-Water.

Lots of water ... still there is a propeller sticking out of the water at the River Nene Thrapston , shame there is a large cabin cruiser under the surface still attached to it . If the narrowboat owners don't soon go and loosen their mooring ropes their boats will soon be joining it .
Sank my 7 series BMW in the 1998 floods , sat there with water coming in over the dashboard ...suffice to say it was a write off
Wouldn't fancy doing the Fosse Rally in those conditions Simon ...sooner have it frozen ....not !!!

I think if you remember rightly I was only the passenger (who got wet feet pushing the thing out). Neither of those, it was the one at Kineton (went through both of those on Sunday), no problem in the Pathfinder surprisingly.
