There isn't any camping on site, most people use Hollands Wood in Brockenhurst which is a Forestry Commmission (or whatever its called these days). It has all mod cons.

Define 'small'! I presume MCR will be using Beaulieu definition of child, ie 5-12years. Under 5's are free.

Hollands Wood is a lovely campsite with great facilities and we've camped there many times in the past: -

Hi

In previous years, we've travelled to Beaulieu in one of our Minis just for the day but this year it actually coincides with our annual holiday in the New Forest.  I can't remember what the entrance road to the showfield car park is like, but does anyone know if we'll be able to get in the car park with quite a large motorhome?

Thanks

Deb

If the traders vans and Somerford lorry can get onto the main field I'm sure your motorhome will get in but there is no camping on site.

Thanks very much for that.  We're already staying in the New Forest for the week so the lack of camping won't matter.

I think it officially opens at 10:00 but there will no doubt be the usual few tragic regulars there at the crack of dawn trying to find a bargain from the sellers.

For those coming down from north of Watford the M1 will be closed in both directions between junctions 9 and 8 until 9:00 on Sunday morning - and no doubt that could over run.

I believe the rally gate closes at 1pm? So if you arrive late you'll have to gain entry through the main museum entrance and you will usually pay more. Plus you won't get you're Mini into the show ground either.

As we discovered back in 1994 when some friends seriously held us up (we did eventually get our Mini in, but the 1pm ruling was greatly emphasized and enforced after that).

So we made a weekend of it after that unpleasant little experience, camped at Hollands Wood and had some great times, so we were never late again.

Have a good day guys. Unfortunately I won't be there, still waiting for permission to drive from DVLA medical branch and my taxi driver has other commitments.

Try a refresh or reload.... when the page is loaded press the F5 button and that should reload the new images..

Hope that works!

Certainly working now, great pics and thanks for sharing.  Suffering from serious 'missing out' syndrome with Bulee , not been for over a decade, always take my family holiday at the same time ,  maybe we'll have to holiday in the New Forest next year !

Looks as though I missed a great day. Congratulations, and thanks, to Steve and team for their efforts over the past 12 months.
