The tailgate is metal and has internal hinges . .Any questions , please email me or ring me on 01274 595876"
This is the second time this shell has been sold via eBay the other being in November 2006, it is now owned by an Italian from Rome and is going to have it built into a car by Wood & Pickett? The shell used was a second-hand one, although in all the advertising bumf that the company put out at the time said it was to use brand new Heritage body shells. The shells were said to be going to be converted using cheap labour in Sri Lanka and brought back to England to be built up, but if the work is anything like the Minis that were on show at the NEC they were of very poor quality. As for 7 made I am only aware of one being built and that was the one from the NEC.
Not sure what you could call a Mini built using this shell as it was converted by a company formed by a Mike Fernando and said to be made under the name Harold Radford Coachbuilders Ltd till I pointed out they did not own the company. So to call it a Radford Mini that is now being built by Wood & Pickett seems very odd.
