Nice Mk1 Cosmics too .

The article which went alongside the photograph makes no reference to colour. Though it says that the car was briefly mentioned in an article in Classic and Sports Car in August 1997.
I do have a copy but it's in the loft under hundreds of other magazines!

Besty's Radford .....Thanks for that Robert, thought I'd seen it somewhere.
I remember about fifteen years ago or so whilst mannining an MCR club stand in Cheshire I was approached by a fella proporting to be the owner of a hatchback Radford , who just happened to live but a stone's throw from Besty's old 'new' house in Stockport , coincidense ? Seems it may be, the guy never surfaced again and Mike Elwell reckons it's not the great man's car, doh !

Found that DVLA link :

I typed in Jaggers reg. no. and it came up blank, same for the other three Minis in the W&P showroom photo.
George and Ringo's Cooper S's are still on the books of course .

It probably means they weren't being registered after the DVLA switched to using computers around 1976.
So maybe their hidden in someones garage somewhere or perhaps they got exported prior to 1976?Last edited on Tuesday November 7th, 2006 02:08 pm by taffy1967 |

| ...or maybe they got sold on and acquired private plates. Donald Campbells Radford 1275 S ended up in a scrapyard near me!
